That would be in addition to the fresh foods (fruits, vegetables) and canned goods.
The pantry opened its doors over 10 years ago.
It was started by a group of parishioners and has been running in the basement of the church ever since.
Today the pantry is still in the basement, but with some improvements that have helped them to have a smoother operation.
They have an admissions window where the client and the volunteer can talk to fill in the admissions form.
They also have a collection window where the customer can pick up their food bags when they are ready.
They are fortunate to be supported by their religious community.
They have been a partner agency at Capital Area Food Bank for over six years.
They serve approximately 60+ households a week Volunteers are involved in every aspect of the pantry.
They talk to customers when they come to get food.
They bag up the food and give it out to the clients.

They stock up on food as they come in and they'll pick up food at the food bank.
They help the food pantry coordinator and the social minister to ask for donations.

Requirements:
They ask that the first-time clients bring their ID card and proof of address.


Pantry Hours of Operation:

Friday (except the 3rd Friday of the month)
11:30 am - 1:30 pm

3rd Saturday of the month

9:30 am - 11:15 am
