New Hope Community Church - The Gift of Groceries

New Hope Community Church provides a weekly food pantry every Thursday called "The Gift of Groceries".
They are located in the diverse Meadowview neighborhood and people of all backgrounds are welcome.
The food pantry is a core agency of the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services and also is a TEFAP (USDA) distributor.
They provide dairy products, some meat, fresh produce, canned goods and dry goods (beans, rice and pasta).
This ministry is completely free of charge and is staffed solely by volunteer workers.
Hours of Operation:
Open every Thursday.
Registration (number assignments) begin at 7:00 am and food distributions begin at 1:00 pm.
Last distributions are given at approximately 4:00 pm or when all food is distributed.
