St. Mary's Food Pantry Moline

The mission of the St. Mary's Food Pantry is to provide food to those in need.
They offer food to help people make it through the month when they have exhausted all other means of obtaining food. In 2009, the pantry served more than 2,600 families and 9,500 individuals, and with the help of donations, the pantry accomplished such an amazing amount of service.
They received approximately 50% of their donations from the Sacred Heart, 25% from St. Mary, 10% from Christ the King and the rest from people and organizations.

80% of the pantry's food comes from the River Bend Food Bank.
The rest of the food is bought at local grocery stores or donated by individuals.
The Food Bank distributes public goods free of charge to all qualified storehouses, as well as sells donated products and bulks purchased in bulk at a price that simply covers the operating costs of the Food Bank.
While individual food donations are greatly appreciated, the pantry allows you to purchase food from the food bank for approximately $10 for every dollar you donate.

The food pantry of Santa Maria would not exist without the generosity of those who donate their time, money and food.
