Mission Statement

The mission of Helping In His Name Ministries, Inc. (The Food Pantry) is to model the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing food to the hungry and needy people of Henry County. This mission is to be carried out by a volunteer work force and a small staff using donated food and money. Our mission is usually short term, "stop-gap" help; long term relief is to be usually outside the scope of our mission. In all cases, modeling the loving and compassionate character of Jesus is to be as much a part of our mission as the tangible food that we give." *

Was and is an AMAZING blessing. Want a food pantry that will no only provide you with food, one that will also make sure you are mentally OKAY?, one that will go above and beyond to help if they can?, one that will have people that dont judge you?, one that truly cares about you and not just there to "serve the community"?, or maybe one that will really bring you back to reality because maybe you have lost some faith over time during these rough times. Well this is the place to go. Answered Nov 18, 2020

They do appointment only to cut down on long wait times. Based mainly off of volunteers and even short volunteers there keep it steady. Even if there was long lines or wait times this place is WORTH IT. Answered Nov 18, 2020
