The Daily Manna Serving Center is a 501c3 nonprofit information center that fights poverty by providing resources and opportunities to increase food security, reduce avoidable health conditions, and promote family stability in the North Riverside area of Jacksonville.
Their center serves up to 1,000 families a week from their warehouse, and they are the largest public food distribution center in northeast Florida.
Hours of Food distribution:
Tuesday
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (for the senior citizen in the community aged65+)
Friday
10:00 - 12:00 (for the general public)
Food distribution:
They distribute 40,000-50,000 pounds of food and serve up to 1,000 needy families with groceries per week.
GED Classes -
Through theirrelationship with the Jacksonville Public Library, opens Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., local residents come to the Daily Manna Serving Center to receive free GED courses to earn a high school diploma
