Pastries and bread and USDA bagged food are available Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Food redistribution: Provides goods and food received by the U.S. Department of Agriculture from donations, food stamp applications, and other mainstream resources.
Clothing:
Provide clothing and shoe vouchers for residents, the homeless, and people at risk of homelessness.
Neighborhood Watch:
On the first Monday of each month, residents of the Transitional Housing Program and Western Augustinian neighbors gather for dinner, social time, and presentations from local service agencies.
Outreach to lead agencies includes :
Basic needs: Provides homeless people with kits containing personal care items, food, and socks.
These kits are distributed over the ESHC dinner, annual counting of points over time, and periodically throughout the year.
Dinners:
They host special dinners for the homeless throughout the year, including National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week in November, a candlelight vigil and memorial service in December, and our annual meeting in May.
The average attendance of each dinner is 125-200 homeless people.
