I am a resident of Littleton 80123. I started going many years ago when the food bank was open 3 day a week. I am very thankful of the volunteers that never stop Helping us. Now I have a complain and I hope you understand my feelings: We are supposed to arrrive at 3.30, usually we are a small group of people waiting. Mike greets us but he needs to go inside and pray and this lasts about 15 minutes . In the meantime more people continues to arrive . We are waiting to get our numbers many people are old and disabled. They all wait but before we know it there is a huge crowd of people that are coming from every city in Denver. Last Thursday they told us to line up by the wall and we would be getting the numbers by Mike. Every one who was early before the prayer got high numbers from 50 Up to 39 and all the people who arrived last got the numbers that where 1 to 25. I couldn’t believe that I got number 39’. We saw people filling up the carts with no limit between veggies and cans and a couple got 2 carts getting double the food allowed . When someone complained they told her that Jesus is watching. Is wrong to take advantage and is wrong to allow this young people to get a first place, get a better system and allow us seniors to get our own number. I feel mad that this is happening and I came home crying. This was my favorite place to get help.
