Brother Benno's Center

A drop-in center that provides services to homeless low-income people.
Offers meals, including breakfast and sack lunch, during the week, and a Saturday brunch.
Distributes clothing and basic toiletries, and provides shower, laundry facilities (must do 2 hours worth of volunteer work per load of laundry), and haircuts.
Also offers assistance to veterans by a representative of the Veterans Homeless Outreach.
The Center can be used as a mailing address for homeless individuals.
Provides bus passes for verifiable medical or court appointments only.
Food packages are provided to low-income families with children younger than 18 years of age.
Offers prescription medication assistance for the uninsured to families with children, seniors 60 years and older, and to disabled individuals who live in Oceanside only.
Also provides case management.
For emergency food, no age limitations; however, shirt and shoes are required to receive meal. Individual must also be sober.

Hours:
6:30am-12:00pm Monday-Friday/Breakfast, sack lunch, laundry.
6:30am-9:00am Mon-Fri/Showers, clothing room.
10:00am-11:30am Saturday/Brunch and children's reading room.
Center closes at 1:00pm
