Bluffton Self Help offers several assistance programs, including:
- The Market - provides fresh produce, meat, dairy, bread, desserts and non-perishable items
- Grocery Pick-up - provides pre-bagged groceries including meat, milk, produce, and non-perishables for those who meet requirements
- Mobile Market - home delivered pre-bagged groceries for persons who are either homebound due to medical reasons or do not have transportation
- Clothing Closet - provides gently used workwear, children’s clothes, and uniforms
- They also distribute diapers, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies.
Eligibility Requirements:
- All Bluffton residents (29910/29909)
- Beaufort County (excluding HHI) and Jasper County residents who work in Bluffton
- Hardeeville (29927) and Ridgeland (29936) residents receiving either Social Security Retirement or Disability benefits
- Proof of residency or Bluffton employment will be required.
Market Hours:
- Monday 4pm-6pm
- Wednesday 10am-12pm & 4pm–6pm
- Friday 10am-12pm
Pick-up Hours:
- Monday 4–6 pm
Clothing Closet Hours:
- Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am-2pm
- Wednesdays 4-6pm
